TL74 “I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT” ADAM THOMAS BREAKS DOWN AS HE REVEALS SHOCKING WAY DAVID HAYE “MANIPULATED” HIM

Adam Thomas fights back tears as he reveals David Haye’s shocking unaired confession: ‘Why did you keep doing this to me?’

‘If that isn’t classed as bullying, I don’t know what is!’

Adam Thomas was emotional as he opened up about his I’m A Celebrity South Africa experience and David Haye’s shocking unaired confession.

Last Friday (April 24), Adam was voted the winner of the All-Star series. However, his time on the show was a complete rollercoaster.

As the pre-recorded series aired, former boxer David Haye was accused of bullying Adam on the show.

While competing with Jimmy Bullard on a trial, the pair found themselves in a heated row after Jimmy nearly jeopardised his position in the competition.

During the live final, Jimmy hit back, accusing the show of failing to air what he claimed was abusive behaviour. After Adam admitted he overreacted, David chimed in and backed Jimmy, demanding clarity over what had taken place.

The show’s drama has remained in the headlines, and Adam has decided to have his say on his family podcast, At Home With The Thomas Bro’s, with brothers Ryan and Scott Thomas.

While fighting back the tears, Adam said the reason he never spoke up for himself on the show was due to his other campmates “passing it off as banter”.

Revealing that he spoke to David once the show finished filming, he said: “I spoke to David when I got out and I asked him, ‘Why did you keep doing this to me? Why did you do it?’”

In response, Adam claimed David said: “He told me, ‘I’ve never met a nicer guy. I just wanted to break you.’”

Hitting back, the Waterloo Road actor said: “Now, if that isn’t classed as bullying, I don’t know what is.”

Adam reflected on the previous podcast episode, admitting he was “apprehensive and probably a bit diplomatic about whether it was bullying or banter” between the pair.

However, after initially not wanting to call anyone a bully, he clarified: “What happened to me in camp was bullying.”

‘Wow, you really manipulated me’

Elsewhere in the podcast, Adam broke down as he revealed how David “manipulated” him on the show.

Adam said that David pretended that ITV had the boxer of his mental health issues following fainting in camp. ITV did not air the scene.

He explained: “He got pulled to the Bush Telegraph, and then he came out and he sat me down and said, ‘I’ve been worried about your mental health. They’ve told me to stop now. Have you been crying about me in there?’”

“So that was when I thought they know, they know what’s been going on, and that upset me more, because it’s the fact that I’ve never once talked about [David] or mentioned what [David’s] done to me.”

Adam revealed he then went into the Bush Telegraph “breaking down”. However, he claimed the show told him they have “never once said anything to David about your mental health”.

Adam confronted David, who shockingly confessed: “Yeah, I just made it all up.”

“I was like, ‘Wow, you really manipulated the [bleep] out of me.’”

He added: “He got in my head like you wouldn’t believe, and that’s the thing, not everyone sees that. Nobody sees the little comments he makes. He mind-[bleep]ed me. It’s a gift, what he has. This energy I have, this light, for him to take that away from me, that’s a gift.”

‘I felt exploited’

Adam admitted the “whole experience” of the show was “hard”.

Referring to the live final, he admitted he felt like he had been “exploited” by ITV, stating: “I think you can see it, at the end of it.”

“I felt like I was in the midst of it all, and it wasn’t even about me,” Adam continued.
